Sitaphal Phirni Motichoor Cups — the prettiest Diwali dessert that combines two of my favorite flavors! With a silky sitaphal (custard apple) phirni paired with a motichoor ladoo cup, your friends and family are going to love this!
WATCH HOW TO MAKE SITAPHAL PHIRNI IN MOTICHOOR CUPS – CUSTARD APPLE RICE PUDDING:
We’ll start by blending our rice and milk until it becomes smooth. In a pan, we’ll bring the rest of our milk up to a simmer. Add in the rice paste while stirring continuously, making sure that no lumps are formed while the mixture thickens. Add in the sugar and continue simmering until you get this velvety texture!
No, in goes our sitaful or custard apple pulp and elaichi. Give the phirini a gentle mix and we’ll finish it off with pistachios.
After our phirni has chilled in the fridge, we’re ready to assemble! Using store-bought motichoor ladoos, we can make these adorable little cups by gently pressing it against the side of a mold. Pipe in the luscious sitafal phirni and garnish with pistachio powder, pomegranate, and gold foil.

Just look at how adorable these are! Every time I’ve made these, people have told me that this is the best dessert! This Diwali season, I’m sure you won’t be able to get enough of them too!

Amazing twist 👌👌
Thank you so much!🙏🙏
Can you substitute sitaphal with some other fruit since sitaphal is not available where I live.
you can use in-season mangoes or lychees instead
Can you suggest any fruit other than mango, lychees please. Sitafal is also not available where I live
You can use apples – use shredded, or can just make kesar phirni too
