Brownies and Nutella are a heavenly combination and when I’m craving for something chocolatey and sweet, this easy to make, Eggless Nutella Brownie is my go to recipe!

This super quick and easy dessert is eggless and requires just 4 ingredients: Nutella, milk, flour and flaxseeds. There is no need to sieve the mixture or add baking powder, just add in your flax-egg, mix, and your batter is ready!

Flax-egg? Just mix the flax seeds with water and leave it to sit for 10 minutes to thicken and you have the most perfect egg substitute ever! The flax-egg replicates the texture and consistency of an egg and is a perfect substitute for eggs in baking. There is no change in the taste and you get a wonderful moist and fudgy end result!

These brownies with the rich, delicious flavor of Nutella are a must try! They are fudgy, moist, and super decadent, making them perfect to satisfy your sweet-tooth cravings. Pair them with a rich cup of coffee or simply enjoy them as a post-dinner treat!

HOW TO MAKE EGGLESS NUTELLA BROWNIES:
  1. Prep the Oven! Preheat your oven to 350°F/175°C.
  2. Make the Flax-Egg! In a small bowl mix together the flax seeds and water. Let this sit for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  3. Make the Batter! In a large mixing bowl, combine the Nutella, flour, salt, and flaxseed mixture. Add in your milk gradually until you achieve your desired consistency.
  4. Pour the Batter! Pour your batter into a 9″ x 5″ baking pan lined with parchment paper. If you want, you can top them with walnuts or pistachios or any nuts of your choice.
  5. Bake the Brownies! Bake for 25-30 minutes. To test if the brownies are done, insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean, the brownies are ready.
  6. Cool and Eat! Take the pan out and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes till it cools down completely. Once cool, take the brownies out of the pan and cut into squares.

Ingredients
Brownie:
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 10 tbsp all purpose flour , ( 10 tbsp = ½ cup + 2 tbsp)
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • pinch sea salt

      Hi Supriya, I tried it with chia-eggs, but it didn’t work out The brownies were very dense and hard, whereas with flax-eggs, they were just perfect.

    How come you have not used any baking powder in your recipe?

      This recipe does not require any baking powder. They will come out just fine without them.
