These Eggless Herb and Cheese Waffles are the perfect crunchy, savory treat to start off your mornings!
- 1½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup milk , or non-dairy milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice , fresh
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup cheese
- veggies of your choice , finely chopped or grated
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
- salt , to taste

Combine milk and lemon juice in a bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes. This will make the buttermilk.

Then mix in oil and vanilla extract.

Now, add in all the dry ingredients (all purpose flour, baking powder and sugar) and let it sit for 10 minutes.

You can adjust the thickness of the batter by adding some milk.

Now, warm your waffle maker, grease with oil, and pour in the batter using a spoon. Cook until done.
